This attraction is highly recommended for young families with children (10 and under).

Stroll along lush acres of jungle trails with babbling brooks and exhibits of birds, monkeys and lemurs along the way. Soon, the greenery gives way to open space and a large wading pond filled with Pink Flamingos. This is THE highlight of everyone’s visit!!!

Mingle with and (for a small fee), feed free roaming pink flamingos as they gently eat from your hand. A zoo keeper is always available to answer questions and share information about nesting habits and more.

Take a picnic break in the gazebo or dine at the snack bar and toss nuggets to the giant Koi in the pond nearby. Some little ones may want to nap in the shade while others let off steam on the tiger swings, tree house, slide or wooden train before heading to the educational bird and reptile shows.

Get photographed with one of many colorful parrots anxious to land on your shoulder. Five daily educational presentations including a Reptile Encounter, Birds of Prey and Birds of the Rainforest will keep young and old thoroughly entertained.

Allow for 4 hours. It isn't a huge place, but at the same time it’s well worth the visit.
