 Salons / Spas |
For shoppers, Sarasota has a rare combination of small town charm and big city sophistication.
Boutiques with distinctive styles, art galleries and sidewalk eateries can be found along Main Street and Palm
Avenue as well as St Armands Circle. Bargain hunters can head to the flea markets or on Saturday mornings grab
a light breakfast at a nearby cafe and head to the farmer’s market on Main and Lemon. Venice is only a short drive
south for sharks teeth and unique gifts for the family. There are three area malls with a fourth opening soon.
Only 40 minutes away, spend a day at Tampa’s International Mall with exquisite offerings from Tiffany’s,
Nordstrom’s, Louis Vuitton, Neiman Marcus and over 200 more… all under one roof!!!

 Dancing on the Bay |
The Ca d’Zan, John Ringling’s personal Mansion, on the grounds of the famed museum, serves up
cocktails and live music every third Thursday of the month. With a libation in hand and a terrace for dancing
the views of Sarasota Bay and the setting sun make for a magical evening!. Take an evening stroll through Towles
Court where Artists open their galleries for viewing.
Refer to calendar
for details: Sundays about an hour before sunset, head to the Siesta Public Beach, just south of the main pavilion
between lifeguard stands 3 and 4. There you’ll hear the beat of drums and strumming guitars with a circle of
gyrating bodies celebrating a beautiful sunset in paradise. So, where are the rest of the in-places to
go?
