John & Mable Ringling Museum - Sarasota
The Museum of Art offers 21 galleries of European paintings as well as Cypriot antiquities, Asian Art,
American paintings, and contemporary art. Paintings and sculptures by the great Old Masters including Rubens, Dughet,
van Dyck, Velázquez, Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese, El Greco, Gainsborough and more. It is a palace for treasures
emulating the footprint of Florence Italy’s Uffizi Gallery, echoing its grace and grandeur.
The estate features the spectacular Cà d'Zan ("House of John"), a waterfront mansion that was restored in 2002, as
well as the Circus Museum (see below). The estate also features Mable Ringling’s Rose Garden, completed in 1913,
and beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking Sarasota Bay. |

The Circus Museum celebrates the American circus, its history and unique relationship to Sarasota.
The world's largest miniature circus, costumes, wagons, performance equipment, and other artifacts chronicling the
history of the Circus are on display.

Powell Crosley Estate - Sarasota
By the end of his life, he had invented, developed, manufactured or produced the first economy car,
televisions, the Shelvador refrigerator, the first 4-wheel disc brakes, 35mm cameras, several airplanes and much more.
The mansion sits on 16 acres on Sarasota Bay. The 11,000 square foot home has 21 rooms, 10 baths and an adjacent
carriage house.

Selby Gallery - Sarasota
Distinguished as Sarasota's premier gallery for contemporary visual arts, the Ringling College of Art
& Design's Selby Gallery is a professional on-campus exhibition space. The 3,000-square-foot Gallery presents
major exhibitions by nationally and internationally celebrated artists, designers, illustrators and photographers
from diverse cultural backgrounds as well as provides community programming in the form of lectures, forums, panel
discussions, and performing arts events.

Crowley Museum |
Crowley Museum and Nature Center - Sarasota
Is an educational facility promoting the enjoyment of Southwest Florida habitats, fostering environmental
awareness and responsible stewardship. The Museum exhibits a variety of historic objects, mostly from the Crowley
family and the Old Myakka area. Household furnishings, tools, and items from the original Old Myakka general store and
post office are on display. The Pioneer area consists of a museum of pioneer history, pioneer cabin, blacksmith shop,
working sugar cane mill and the restored Tatum House. |
